Beautiful, rugged, convenient. They could use some form of trash disposal, I know bears are an issue there.
Great site that is away from many other people. Its a great place to stay before hitting the shelf lake trailhead, though there aren't many views from the campsite itself
Great find coming across this campground. We camped here in late September and found that we had the entire campground to ourselves for the majority of the day. Late evening a few others arrived and kept to themselves.
We had no problems fitting out 28ft TT here, but going too much larger may be a problem.
Wind swept and higher elevation for colder nights.
Trash was left by several camp sites, camp host was helpful and lent pair of pliers. Sites are visible from the main road and a stones throw away from local Trailhead.
The campground itself is located in a kind of bowl, surrounded by large rock formations or steep hills. There's a trailhead within walking distance.
